Oct 30, Wed {WW} Hike Interstate State Park. Meet at 10 AM at the far end of the parking lot by the Visitor Center, 307 Milltown Road, Taylors Falls, MN 55084. Start hiking at 10:15 AM.. Bring water for the hike. Some sections are rocky, so you may want hiking poles. Some trails have many stairs. However, there are options for shorter and/or easier routes. If you are a camera buff, there are opportunities for great photos, especially on the Potholes and River Trails. If the weather has continued to stay warm, we will eat lunch at The Drive In Restaurant, 572 Bench Street, Taylors Falls, MN 55084 {sometimes comes up as 572 St. Croix Trail} if it is still open for the season. The Drive In has a fifties atmosphere with fifties music playing. It is famous for root beer and great food. The owners take pride in buying quality ingredients locally. We can play 18 holes of mini golf right by the restaurant after lunch. Cost for mini golf is $8. If the weather has been cold and the Drive In and mini golf have closed for the season, we will cross over the river into Wisconsin and eat lunch at the Dallas House Restaurant, 720 South State Road 35, St. Croix Falls, WI  54024. You will need a state park permit to park by the Visitor Center.
