Nov 9, Wed {WW} Hike Lowry Nature Center in Carver Park Reserve. Meet at 9:45 a.m. at 7025 Victoria Drive, Victoria, MN 55386. Begin hiking at 10 a.m. with naturalist Dianne Rowse, who retired from working at Lowry Nature Center. She will talk about the ecology of the maple-basswood forest and wetlands. Plan to hike 4 miles on wood-chipped trails with lightly rolling hills. There are many intersecting trail loops for shorter or longer options. Lowry will be open and indoor bathrooms are available. Bring a picnic bag lunch to eat together after the hike. We can store our lunches indoors during the hike. There may be space available to eat indoors; otherwise, there is an amphitheater next to the building.
