Did you ever want to bike through the South but were unsure how hospitable" Southern Hospitality" really is? Let's explore this historic trail to see how it became such a remarkable destination
with something for every cyclist.
Deb is a retired high school math teacher who lives in Rosemount. Her true love is peeking around the corner of any landscape in any country: trekking in Nepal, Mongolia, China, Peru, England, Spain, etc. Canoeing down the full length of the Mississippi River, the Red River, and almost to Hudson Bay. Biking through many states, many countries including Vietnam, Croatia, Serbia, Scotland, Czech Republic, and of course, along the Natchez Trace. Former cross-country skier and marathon runner, Deb and her partner Jim now run a maple syrup sugarbush for the native community every spring out on Lake Independence.
The meeting will be both in-person and via Zoom for remote participation.
