About this event
Nov 20, Wed {WW} Hike Long Meadow Lake. Meet at 10:00 a.m. at 10217 Tenth Ave Circle, Bloomington, MN 55420. Park on either side of the street. Start hiking at 10:15 a.m. Frank and Roxy Janezich will host a hike from their house, and Heather Burns will lead the hike along Long Meadow Lake {a backwater of Minnesota River}. Hike will be about 3 miles roundtrip {out-and-back} on a hilly woodland trail. Trail-hiking shoes and hiking poles might be helpful. We will hike to Old Cedar Ave Bridge, hike the boardwalk to a bird watching platform, and return to Roxy and Frank’s home to eat our bag lunches. Coffee and tea will be provided.
