Dec 4, Wed {WW} Hike Prairie Ridge Park. Meet at 10 a.m. at Prairie Ridge Park, across the highway from Caliber Marine, 599 Manning Ave, Afton, MN 55001. Directions: Take Highway 94 east to Manning Ave {exit 253, Hwy 95}, go south about a half mile and the park is on the right side of the road. Start hiking at 10:15 a.m. This is a smaller, bit newer park. We will make 3 loops around the park {about 2 miles}. For people who want to do more hiking, we can do the loops again in the reverse direction. We will be walking on flat, grassy trails. This might be a great park to check out if you are interested in finding an easy place to go snowshoeing in the winter or a place where you can break your own trail for cross-country skiing after a snowfall. We will eat lunch afterwards at the Machine Shed, 8515 Hudson Blvd N, Lake Elmo, MN 55042 {take Hwy 94 west to exit 250/Radio/Inwood, take next right to Machine Shed behind the hotel}.
