Events - Event View

June 5, Wed {WW} Bike Carver Park.  Meet at 10 a.m. at 304 Water Street, Excelsior, MN 55331 in the parking lot near the Montego restaurant.  Start biking at 10:15 a.m.  Be aware there are entrances to 2 parking lots side by side, but you should only park in the one that is the most northern of the two.  There is also parking on the street and by the library, which is across the street from the 318 Cafe.  We'll bike on the LRT trail (packed dirt on a flat surface) for about 5 miles to the entrance to Carver park, which has about 15 miles of a paved bike path through beautiful gently rolling hills.  The entire route is about 20-22 miles round trip, but there are multiple ways to shorten the trip.  You can bring a bag lunch, or there are multiple options for eating in Excelsior.  The 318 cafe is right on the bike trail; there are others in downtown Excelsior close to Lake Minnetonka.  Ride will be canceled if it is raining that morning.
