Lotsa Lakes Bike Ride

May 5, Wed {WW} Lotsa Lakes Bike Ride. This 25- to 30-mile ride offers a new twist to Dick Stardig's popular ride in the northeast metro suburbs -- while still featuring a plethora of lakes, streams and trails. Meet at 10:45 a.m. in the parking lot of the Maplewood Community Center, 2100 White Bear Ave, Maplewood, MN 55109 (just south of Highway 36). Park in the far south end of the lot; plan on being on the bikes at 11:00. We'll wind our way north through Little Canada and Vadnais Heights to Bald Eagle Lake, then return via White Bear Lake and some nice roads in North St. Paul. This will be a leisurely ride thru gently rolling terrain. Bring a bag lunch and lawn chair for socializing after the ride. Rain cancels the ride. FFI: Mel Peterson, 651-776-4330 or 612-867-2192 (cell phone day of ride).
